Do you think Gerald Ratner saw this and was inspired?
Classic. So much better than Clunes rubbish remake.
Should that down there below not read Super Smashing Great? PILLOCK! HA!
This scene is straight out of Peter Cook type jokes. But i love it anyway!
This comment is 11 minutes late, wireless keyboard battery incident at Chipping Norton. Leonard passed on way before his time, very much missed genius comedy performer. Wouldn’t it be great if he was still around, wonder what else he would have done, maybe even some more Reggie!
At first this video didn’t work, at bit of a cock up on the computer front….
He speaks very very fast, especially in Rising Damp, which is also awesome.
I’m not really a ‘youtube’ person.
Your written English is excellent! The main character Reggie does speak very quickly. If you want to to see an example of another English sitcom of the same era, try Yes Minister on YouTube. It is extremely funny, and the actors speak very clearly.

I didn’t get where I am today by looking at You tube
Still makes me laugh today! They don’t come any better than Leonard Rossiter, that’s for sure!
Thank you very much. My teacher tells me that my English can improve if I try to listen to the BBC program. But I’ll take your advice.
This is a very difficult programme for a beginner. It is from a television comedy about a man who sets up a company which makes useless objects.
If you are just learning english, try a simpler programme, for example David Attenborough’s documentaries.
it makes us laugh!
